In order to apply to work as a Ballot Secretary on Election Day, fill out the "הגשת מועמדות לתפקיד מזכיר/ת ועדת קלפי" on the Central Elections Committee website www.bechirot.gov.il , in the section of tenders and job offers (מכרזים ודרושים).
Any voter who is located, on Election Day, in a town which is at least 20 kilometers away from the town in which they are registered to vote, is entitled to free public transportation to their voting station.
The voter will receive a bus ticket upon presentation of a Teudat Zehut (ID card) or driver’s license which shows their address, and their voting card.
The stations and times to receive bus tickets to one’s registered voting station will be announced close to Election Day in the print media and on the Central Elections Committee website at the following link address: http://www.bechirot.gov.il/
The days and times at which the elections film will be broadcast on public television will be announced in the newspapers and on the Central Elections Committee website.
Call the Interior Ministry service center at 1-800-222-290. The hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 8:30am until 10:00pm, and Fridays from 8:30am until 1:30pm.
It is not necessary to bring the Voting Card which you received in the mail in order to vote.
The Voting Card specifies the address of the voting station at which you are registered to vote, and the ballot number, within the building. It can be useful to have the card with you, together with your Teudat Zehut (ID card).
Anyone who has not received their Voting Card, and wants to know where they are registered to vote, can check the bulletin boards in their town, the daily newspapers or the website of the Central Elections Committee, at the link address: http://www.bechirot.gov.il/

If your registered voting station is accessible to persons with physical limitations, there will be an “accessible” symbol on the Voting Card you received in the mail. If you do not have your Voting Card, you can call the Interior Ministry service center to ask.

A citizen who is blind or visually-impaired is entitled to vote with the help of an escort of their choosing. You must produce a document attesting to your disability, and show that to the ballot committee chairperson. The escort must show their Teudat Zehut to the ballot committee secretary, and their details will be written in the protocol.
A person may escort up to two people on Election Day.
It is best to vote at the ballot nearest your home before going to the induction center (Baku”m). However, if you are unable to vote at your registered ballot, you may vote at the induction center.
Note: civilian voting stations are scheduled to open at 7:00am on Election Day.
A voter who is physically unable to place the voting slip into the envelope is allowed to have an escort with them at the ballot. The escort must provide ID to the ballot committee secretary, and his / her details wil be recorded in the protocol.
A person may escort up to two voters on Election Day.
A person who is cognitively impaired is entitled to vote. However, they may not have an escort and must place their voting slip in the envelope by themselves.
